The Representative Office of the German Adult Education Association in the Republic of Belarus encourages you to participate in the presentation “Books for adult education development”.
Adult education is an inalienable part of life-long education. The way the system of adult education is organized impacts directly on competitiveness of the national economy, as well as civic and social activity of the population.
Assistance to further professionalization of adult education is one of the most important tasks of the activity of the Representative Office of the German Adult Education Association in the Republic of Belarus. Along with the support of pilot projects, providing access to additional education of socially excluded groups, we pay much attention to the development of expert potential and methodological support of practical activity. This task is partially solved with the help of scientific and methodological publications, that will be presented within the 19th Minsk International Book-Fair.
The presentation “Books for the development of adult education” will take place on February 11, 2012 at 17.00 at the National Exhibition Hall “BelExspo” (Minsk, J. Kupaly str. 27) near the German stand (А 15).
Within the presentation the following books will be offered:
The first 10 attendees will get a copy of each three books fot the library of their institution.
The participants of the exhibition can also watch the video “Belarusian school in Cham”. The film was shot within the joint Belarusian-German project, implemented by the Folk High School of the city of Cham (Germany) and the Representative Office of the German Adult Education Association in the Republic of Belarus with the assistance of Robert Schumann Gymnasium and Novogrudok School #1 and dedicated to the history of the Belarusian emigration in post-war years on the territory of Germany.
We are looking forward to seeing the participants who are interested in the topic of adult education on the whole and the topic of oral history in adult education in particular.
